I received this call twice today (March 11,2010) and in researching it's "out of area" identity, it is the above number which others have had a problem with.

Didn't pick up but ran a check on the number; apparently "they" call about an issue to your debit card to get your pin number. Big scam!

They tell you they work for Bank Corp.& because you pay your bills on time you're eligible for a reuced interest rate on your Visa or M/C accounts. Then they ask for expiration date on the card you want your rates lowered. After that they want the last twelve numbers of your account. Too much information!!!

I, too, received the same email as this group...Craigslist was where it came from. How sad! SAD! We are only trying to find a job and this is such a deflator in an already sagging balloon! STAY ALERT! and thank you for posting...I am so needy I was seriously going to call this person. I appreciate your diligence.

Called claiming to be my cc co. and then when I I stated that they were NOT from my cc company he asked if I was ragging and then went further to say that he would come over to my house and beat me over the head with his big "ding dong" and they won't stop calling my number!!

Phone rings and hangs up when answering machione starts.
